The neighborhood’s design is an important element in our care philosophy. With just 14 apartments, the neighborhood is large enough to have a community feel, yet small enough that it is not overwhelming. Residents can also enjoy a perfectly maintained courtyard where they can continue to enjoy the outdoors.
Daily life in the Beacon Neighborhood follows a special calendar that blends familiar routines with unique events. We designed them to celebrate ability, rather than focusing on loss. In practice, this means that residents experience aspects of daily living like relaxation, dining, and exercise at roughly the same time every day. We seek to provide varied activities within those time periods to make every day both familiar and fresh.
The Beacon Neighborhood also features a dedicated coordinator and increased staff ratios. To ensure residents receive complete support.
