There are a few requirements like a one-time fee. Residents must be able to care for their pet. We have some size restrictions, sorry—no elephants. And pets must be community living appropriate and people friendly. That said, our family already has a variety of cats, dogs, fish, and birds. The companionship pets provide is a blessing and most pets become mascots by default.
