Simply the Best!

We have performed monthy for over 10 years at various retirement communities in the Jacksonville region at large, and monthly for over 4 years at Benton House St. Johns. Each time, we leave commenting with our observations of the consistent, loving care shown to the residents by the outstanding staff, from the director, to the activity director, to the nurses, and to the happy, content countenance of the residents. We always feel so welcomed, as if part of the supportive Benton “family” focused on providing quality lifestyle for the residents.

We would feel confident in our loved ones living there, knowing they would be well taken care of by a staff truly dedicated to treating each resident with dignity and respect, providing well prepared meals, quality activites, professional medical care giving, warm smiles and tenderness with each day! My Mom is here now. My 7 year old daughter loves the resident dog Baxter. I love this facility. All of the employees are so caring and lovely. I highly recommend the Benton house.

I work as a liaison in the area and whenever I stop by Benton House, I’m always impressed by how clean and how friendly all the staff are. Matthew the administrator does a wonderful job and so does everyone else who works here.

The atmosphere of the Benton House is peaceful, family-loving and all inclusive of family members of residents and Day Care. My husband has attended day care for a year and the same staff is in place, and make us feel like family. Patients are well loved and cared for. It all begins with Matthew, the Administrator, Jessica, Receptionist, Amanda and Jackson who plan exeptionalsocial activities that are creative and fun! Kym and staff in the Memory Care area, provide meaningful and fun art activities for the residents, as well as field trips to restaurants, movies and fun explorations in the area. No wonder they are rated #1in the nation by US World & News Report! They deserve it! If you are looking for a quality residential living or day care for a loved one, this is it!

Great Property. The residents are very happy which tells me the staff are doing an exemplary job. I have personally seen how the staff work with the residents and notice the bond they share. The facility is clean and well taken care of and promotes a sense of well being for all whom work, live and visit the facility.

Awesome facility! Located in fast growing St John’s County. The staff and management have a true calling to care for our seniors. Benton House of St John’s has daily activities to keep mom active and constant entertainers for fun! The food is phenomenal. I would recommend Benton House of St John’s to any looking for a great assisted living community.

Benton House at St. Johns is an amazing place to work. I've been with the community since they opened.This community is like a family and they treat each of the residents with kindness and love. I have grown to love each of the residents there and make beautiful memories with them. The staff there are great to work with. I love working with the nurses (Courtney, Barbara, Cathe, Cindy and many other coworkers). We are definitely a family that care about our family.

My mother moved into The Beacon, Benton House of St. Johns’ memory care community, in October of last year. Despite the stressful limitations of COVID-19 protocol, the staff at Benton House helped make the move go smoothly In stark contrast to Mom’s previous assisted living community, Mom is well cared for and treated with a high level of dignity. The rooms and common areas are bright, cheerful, and clean. The menu options are varied and look delicious. Activities are creative and entertaining. During my biweekly visits the other residents appear happy and content, greeting me enthusiastically. While other communities struggled to keep their residents engaged and content during the pandemic lockdown, the staff at Benton House excelled.

Beautiful property, modern with a feeling of home. Outstanding staff: caring, pleasant, courteous, helpful, professional, always happy faces for residents and guests. Activities include outings in the community, to bringing in top regional musical entertainment. Benton House at St John's truly cares about their residents!

It is our distinct pleasure to perform live music at Benton House-St. Johns! We are always met with respect, warmth, and professionalism by the staff. We are very impressed with the residents who love connecting with us. They enjoy the music and love singing along, clapping, and dancing! My family and I have no shortage of praises for the entire team at Benton House of St Johns...they are all living proof that team work does make the dream work. They have made a positive and uplifting difference in my mom's daily routine as she becomes adjusted to her 'new normal' in the Beacon dementia care neighborhood within Benton House. Thank you all (in no particular order) - Joyce, Johanda, Jesse, Shelley, Jessica, Malissa, Kevin & Andrea, nursing team CIndy, Jessica, Jenna, and Angie , and Margaret and Matthew. There are others I don't know by name yet that I would also like to thank. My family loves the ALIS portal and seeing all the pics of mom involved in activities. Pls continue the care and concern you show for every resident.
