At Benton House, we love animals. In fact, several of our communities have house dogs, and through our Benton Doodle program, we are planning for more puppies in the future.
Residents are welcome and encouraged to have pets too. There are a few requirements, like a one-time fee. Pets must be people friendly and community living appropriate. We have some size restrictions—sorry, no elephants. And residents must be able to care for their pet.
That said, most pets become mascots by default and are an integral part of our family. The companionship they provide is a blessing, and most do very well within our communities. Our family already has a variety of cats, dogs, fish, and birds!
