great staff
My 88 yr old mother moved to BH August 2023. Her health has improved so much she is able to do most everything on her own now. I like that they include activities family members can attend. Thank you for taking such good care of my mother.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Benton House senior living community. As a REALTOR, I’ve had exposure to other facilities and I must say Benton House is a remarkable place! The facility is inviting, beautifully maintained, and full of activities to keep residents engaged. The caring staff and residents make it a warm and welcoming environment. Kathryn Bennett, the Communication Relations Director, was incredibly helpful and informative. I highly recommend a visit to anyone seeking this type of service. It's a five-star experience all the way!

What a wonderful time I had speaking with Kathryn Bennett, the Community Relations Director about Benton House's amenities and services. Kathryn was very welcoming and has so many exciting activities and events planned, that I can't wait to partner with her in them. I highly recommend Benton House of Oakleaf due to its excellent care and compasionate staff as well as how clean and beautiful the facility is. Take a look and talk with Kathryn as you will not be disappointed! If I can give it more stars, I would!

During my visit, the Residents were having pizza for dinner. The Residents were happy, the staff was engaged with the Residents and the building was in excellent shape. As a healthcare executive I highly recommend Benton House.

Homes get many bad raps, in my days i've seen a few and when that occurs its almost always called for. Needless to say my grandmother was committed to this facility and I was nervous. I was hoping all would go well. It wasn't the easiest on her, even so I couldn't of asked more of the staff. The people who work here are absolutely phenomenal and I hope this establishment stays open for decades if not longer. They bring hope when it comes for the system that cares for the ones we love and care for. They care. They listen. They pay attention. They're people just like us, and they apply those qualities in such a beautiful way. Bravo guys, you have my vote, and ive heard im quite the tough cookie to crack when it comes to family.

I toured 7 places before I found Benton House. As soon as I walked in I knew this was the right place for my LO. The staff is attentive, the facility is clean and comfortable. I really like the layout of the memory care community where everyone gathers in the common area.

My mother has been at the Benton House at Oakleaf for almost a year now, and she loves it! The staff is extremely good with her and always good at keeping us informed. Best decision ever to make the Benton House at Oakleaf her home.

My Dad has been at Benton House Oakleaf for 3 years in the Memory Care Unit. The Nursing staff is excellent! When I call to check on my Dad Larissa always gives a complete update. It is comforting to know his medical issues are being taken care of. Barb does a fantastic job with keeping us informed of how Daddy is doing. She truly care about the residents! All the staff is friendly and helpful and I can’t imagine having to move him anywhere else. Angela has done a fantastic job keeping us informed by email.Linda has been my “best friend” and miss her working during the week. I love Benton House Oakleaf!❤️❤️

My grandmother has been at Benton House for nearly 3 years and has progressed to the memory care unit now - The Beacon. The staff at Benton House is exceptional. My grandmother is not only well cared for with the basics, but her mind is engaged with things like craft projects and even manicures! I send cards to my grandmother from Colorado and they are opened, read to her and put in her room for her to enjoy. We can arrange FaceTime calls with her as well. My mom has been in the memory care unit at Oakleaf for a year now. It is such a comfort to know she is in a nice clean place with people who are very kind to her. I was not able to properly care for her and I am happy to encourage anyone to visit Benton House at Oakleaf if you have a need for a family member. From the office staff to the caregivers they are cooperative helpful and encouraging. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

Dealing with Alzheimer's is heart breaking and frustrating. Having to admit that you are no longer able to care for your parent or other family member is extremely difficult. Finding just the right place can be a daunting task but my family and I were blessed to find Benton House.Every member of the staff at Benton House is personable and kind. Equally important to me, they are well trained and highly knowledgeable in the skills necessary to properly care for their residents with memory issues.My mother has been living at Benton House for about 5 months and I am very happy with the care she receives. She is always clean and well fed. She's involved in daily activities. She is free to move around within her beautiful community but is still safe under the watchful eyes of the staff.I highly recommend this facility as a loving "new" home for your family member!

My dad moved into Benton House 2 weeks ago from another local facility. He has been so happy in the difference in care and the staff here has been so responsive to him. They really go out of their way to make him feel welcome. He is adjusting well. Thank you to all the staff at Benton House. I can sleep at night again knowing he is being cared for.

We moved my Mom into the assisted living at Benton House at Oakleaf in July of 2018 where she is safe, compassionately cared for and loved. I was amazed at how well she adjusted after a little time and finally became a part of the community. A few days before Covid virus shut everything down, we moved her into the memory care unit at the same location. What a blessing that was because her dementia is progressing and she needs that extra care and help. There are wonderful people working at Benton House....from the front desk, to the administrator, the nurses, to all of the staff that provide room care, clothes washing, and custodial service, as well as the serving staff and chefs in the kitchen! It just touches my heart that they know what my Mom loves to eat and wear. They will even take time to dance with her when the mood hits! They know her by name and accept her hugs readily. There is one special lady in the memory care unit~ Miss Barbara~ who I feel goes above and beyond for my Mom while I cannot be there. I know she loves all of the residents as well. That means the world to me and I will never forget her kindness and the FaceTime calls she makes so I can "visit" with Momma! Benton House at Oakleaf has worked so hard to maintain a strict, healthy and clean program and I'm so thankful for their efforts!Sincerely, Karen Mihalik

I was at wits end with my Mother who had Dementia with Lewy Bodies. My husband and I have been caring for her for almost 5 years, 3 of which we lived together. It's hard being a loved one and care taker. We had not had any sleep in weeks and we were completely worn out when I found Benton House. I was on the internet and Lisa Picard from Benton House reached out to me and I can tell ypu, she was a gift from God, not only for me and my husband but ultimately for my mother as well. She was kind and compassionate and understood exactly what we needed. The staff and Lisa helped me through an extremely hard time. They offered respuit care and a 30 day program until we decided to make it her home. The staff treated her with kindness and respect and alot of patience.I want to thank everyone at Benton House for helping myself, my mother and our family with caring for my Mom.I especially want to thank Lisa Picard because she knew exactly what I needed and she was kind and understanding.I also want to do a thank you to Barb as well. She runs the memory care area and she is wonderful with the residents.THANK YOU to all the staff!!!!From the bottom of our hearts. Benton House was truly a blessing for us!!
